The photographer

Hello sunshine…

I’m Chloe, and I’ll (potentially) be capturing your big day! So I wanted to tell you a little about me.

I found my love for Photography when I studied it at college aged 16. We learned everything from how to shoot on film and develop in the darkroom, through to digital photography and editing. Eventually, I invested in my own DSLR and focused on getting out, throwing myself into different styles and trying to work with as many different clients as I could to expand my skills.

Having initially started shooting a lot of newborn and family portraiture, tapping into weddings was something I really loved the idea of, and I’m proud to say this has become something I now specialise in, travelling up and down the UK to some absolutely incredible venues, and of course, meeting amazing couples!

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen or at the gym. I like to cook, whether it’s trying new recipes or baking sweet treats (usually the latter). Or having a glass of wine. I’ll let you decide which order those things go in. I have a Hungarian Vizsla called Piper who keeps me on my toes.

What do you shoot with?

I shoot all of my work on the Canon R6 mark ii, which is arguably one of the best cameras for wedding photographers on the market. It’s incredible! I use prime lenses most of the time, and always bring a back up camera on the day, along with a speedlight for any super dark scenes.

Where are you based?

I’m based in Warrington, in the North West of England. We are lucky to be right in the middle of Liverpool and Manchester – but I travel all over the UK and beyond for weddings! For weddings that are more than 2 hours away, I always book into a hotel the night before, so you can rest assured that I’m there and ready!

What makes your work special?

My approach is very relaxed, which produces images that are natural and raw. Every single wedding is unique, so I like to get to know my couples and make sure they feel super comfortable with me. Documentary has always been my favourite photography style so I aim to bring a lot of that feel into my work. I’m passionate about natural, rustic earthy tones and moody shots and think it’s refreshing in a world full of very posed, cliche photography. I love being able to tell a story and evoke emotion through an image or sequence of images! I’m also non invasive and discreet – rather than in your face, so you can relax throughout your big day and engage with all of your guests.

Let’s create something special together.
